Profile - David Middleton
Born in Doncaster, David attended Ashby-de-la-Zouch Boys Grammar School and always had a keen interest in Maths. ‘He will go far, the direction however is unspecified’ wrote his Maths teacher in one school report!
From there he went on to study at Leicester Polytechnic and finally at Cambridge College of Arts and Technology where he successfully completed the RICS course.
David's robust professional experience commenced at the firm of Lewis & Marshall, Chartered Quantity Surveyors, in Cambridge; from there he moved to East Cambridgeshire District Council and was appointed as Senior Quantity Surveyor. Subsequently he moved into residential development at Yelcon Homes, in Huntingdon and latterly was the Development Director for the Cambridge quality house builder Camstead Homes.
He established Trinity Place in 2007, aiming to provide a personal, accessible and reliable Quantity Surveying practice; an ambition which has been acheived with great success.
David is a committed member of the Methodist Church in Ely, and to unwind he restores antique furniture which is sold at Debden Antiques near Saffron Walden.
