David Middleton MRICSBorn in Doncaster, I attended Ashby-de-la-Zouch Boys Grammar School and always had a keen interest in Maths. ‘He will go far, the direction however is unspecified’ wrote my Maths teacher in one school report!

From there I studied at Leicester Polytechnic and finally at Cambridge College of Arts and Technology where I successfully completed the RICS course to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.

My professional experience commenced at the firm of Lewis & Marshall, Chartered Quantity Surveyors, in Cambridge. From there I moved to East Cambridgeshire District Council and was appointed as Senior Quantity Surveyor. Subsequently I moved into development at Yelcon Homes, in Huntingdon and latterly was the Development Director for the Cambridge quality house builder Camstead Homes.

I started Trinity Place in 2007, aiming to provide a personal, accessible and reliable Quantity Surveying service, an aim which I believe we have achieved.

I am a busy member of the Methodist Church in Ely, and to unwind I restore antique furniture which is sold at Debden Antiques near Saffron Walden.
